Why Women Suffer Needlessly

During my 33 plus year career as an alternative medical provider it never ceases to amaze me at the constant similarities which are occurring in the female gender as patients in my office. Day after day I am constantly reminded by the histories given to me by female patients that are so strikingly similar that one would think that most if not all these women were related somehow by family or genetic traits. This however is not the case but a definite pattern which is growing in geometric proportion and is definitely out of control with likes of main stream medicine. Unfortunately women are being pigeon holed into specific groups and are not being taken seriously or better yet being totally misdiagnosed, therefore mistreated by my medical bretherin. We are going to take just a few samples of countless cases in this quagmire of confusion and utter frustration.

Let’s take the example of the 20-50 year old woman who suffers with pre-menstral issues of severe cramping, heavy bleeding and PMS (Pre Menstral Syndrome) just before and or during the first 1-2 days of menses. These women all have the dreaded monthly issues of disruption of their daily life activities or worse yet total debilitation with the onset of the menstral cycle. I find that most of these unfortunate patients usually are treated by standard protocols from family physicians or gynecologists of birth control pills and analgesics. Of course this does absolutely nothing in treating the cause of the problem, but just masks the symptoms. This in time leads to more serious problems of PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome), Endometrosis and finally Ovarian Cancer in the vast majority of cases.

These conditions are totally treatable and reversible with alternative functional medicine.
